From Tuesday, 22nd September 2020, Warrington is classed as an area of national government intervention.
Therefore, this means that face coverings must be worn in corridors and communal areas from Tuesday, 22nd September 2020.
Essentially, when students are in the building or moving around on school grounds they must wear one. If the students are inside at break or lunch buying food they have to wear one.
The only time that a student will not be required to wear a face covering is in lessons or when they are sat down inside eating. The moment they stand up to move around, a face covering must be worn.
They will not be required to wear one outside playing during break and lunch. This unfortunately is not a choice, (unless exempt) it is mandatory. Staff will be observing the same rules.

To report a student absence from school, you can either:
If you are reporting an absence that is COVID-19 related, i.e. a member of your family have symptoms or you have been asked to isolate for any other reason, please explain this when calling or emailing.
