IMPORTANT: In order for you to receive an invitation to join the Parent App, we MUST have your email address.  Please check your junk folder before contacting us.   If you would like to confirm your email address with us please contact info@padgateacademy.co.uk or call us on 01925 822632.

When your child joins Padgate Academy, you will be sent registration details to access SIMS Parent.  SIMS Parent provides secure online access to real-time school data.  It is accessible either through the SIMS Parent App (on your phone or tablet) or SIMS Parent Online (website) and provides the following information:

• Easy access to real time attendance & behaviour data
• Homework
• Access to school reports
• The ability to update contact details
• The chance to view the latest achievement data (merits)
• See you child's daily timetable

 Our aim is to move to electronic reporting rather than printing reports on paper and SIMS Parent allows us to do this, saving the school a lot of money but also enabling us to develop a clearer reporting system with all the key information. If you have more than one child at school, you’ll have access to information for all your children, all from the same login

You can access Parent App using your Apple device, Android device or PC/Mac.

Follow the steps below to setup Parent App:

1. We will send you an activation email, simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account.
2. You can then login using your own username and password from Facebook, Twitter, Google or Microsoft to register (Do not use SIMS ID, this will not work).
3. You will be asked the date of birth for one of your children at the Academy.
4. You are now activated, you just need to download the App.

Once you have completed registration, follow the steps below to install the App:

1. From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App Store – search for ‘Parent App’ or click on the links above.
2. Login with the username and password that you registered with above.

• Note: If you are using a PC or Windows phone, you can login to access the online version of the Parent App by clicking here.

Students in all years are able to access SIMS Student.   Access is provided using students secure Padgate Academy email account. 

The student version has access to the timetable and homework only, and is accessible via the SIMS Student online portal and the SIMS student phone App.  

Students are permitted to access the SIMS Student App on their phones however the policy regarding the use of mobile phones in school still applies.

 Follow the steps below to setup Student App: 

1. We will send you an activation email, simply click on the link from your tablet, PC or smartphone to activate your account.
2. You can then login using your school email address and computer password, using the Microsoft option (do not use any other option - this will not work).
3. You will be asked your date of birth, please enter this.
4.  You are now activated, you just need to download the App. 

Once you have completed registration, follow the steps below to install the App:  

1. From your smartphone or tablet, download the app from the Google Play or Apple App Store – search for ‘Student App’ or click on the links above.
2. Login with the username and password that you registered with.

I am unable to sign in, what should I do?

• If you are receiving an Unauthorised Access error message, ensure that you are logging into SIMS Student with your Microsoft account and ensure you are entering the correct username and password.
